Parklands Care Homes is a multi award winning care company and one of the largest independent care home providers in the north of Scotland. It operates eight care homes across Moray and the Highlands, with a number of new care facilities planned in the coming years as part of a multi-million pound investment plan.
Parklands homes offer a range of services including residential, respite, nursing, personal and palliative care. Care needs are always tailored to the individual. We see our residents and staff as part of the Parklands 'family'. Our friendly and dedicated staff go the extra mile to ensure that residents enjoy their stay at Parklands and live happy, fulfilled lives.

About Parklands
Parklands was established almost 30 years ago by Ron Taylor. As a young student, Ron had cared for his elderly grandfather and grew frustrated at the lack of local care services. He set up Parklands in 1993, initially with one facility in Buckie. Today, Parklands operates eight care homes in Moray and the Highlands, employing around 600 staff and providing residential care for almost 300 older people in small, rural communities. It is one of the largest independent care providers in the north of Scotland and has won a series of prestigious awards for its commitment to care quality and to people development.
Award winning care
Our passion for care has been well recognised. Parklands was one of the first nursing care providers in Scotland to achieve Investors in People status and, in 2012, we were named ‘Most Outstanding Care Home Group’ in the Over 50s Housing Awards. The company was named 'Outstanding Performing Business (25+ employees)' in the 2015 Highland Business Awards and won the 2016 SCDI Highlands and Islands Business Award for 'Excellence in People Development.' Parklands was named the UK's Best Smaller Care Home Group in the 2020 Care Home Awards and also won the 'Best for Communication' award.
